AFAX 2010

Its been too long I have not updated my blog, let me recall back on December 2010...the most fun moment I had besides Xmas is going to AFAX...some might not know wth it was but to some...this event is most anticipated...this is the time when adults can once be a kid again...being in anime festival does have a lot of excitement going..where you can see adults dressing up as their favourite manga character...so what I am planning for this year 2011 is to be part of the cos play...can't wait for the next festival to come :) Enough has said and I let the pictures do the talking....

Bintan...a.k.a Cut Throat Island

Recently, me and my girlfriend went on a so called road trip to Bintan...I am sure most of you know where Bintan is and frequently visited by Singaporean...there is something that most Singaporean don't know is that Bintan island is twice bigger than Singapore...when you reach Bintan..you do not have to worry about whether you have change enough money as they accept SGD like how we do in Singapore..overall I find this trip is quite interesting but a little too costly..if you book yourself in resort...be prepared to spend much more...and if you think you want to go to Bintan town area which called Tanjung Pinang...don't bother cause nothing much to offer on shopping wise unless you wanna bring salted fish home...fml...enough of me explaining bout Bintan as most people who went there will understand my point..so here are all the images I manage to take while in Bintan....

Well,seems a bit too late to post bout my happenings during Halloween...but what the heck..the pics are too nice to be missed by you guys...so here is a recap on what happens during Halloween this year...my costume was to be a chic and cute black cat...meeeooowwww!!!

Let's start with what happens in town..as you know currently I am base in town area and my nearest shopping mall is Cineleisure where Scape is having a Halloween Horror House and the gang is doing promotion over at Cineleisure...so happen I pass by and start snapping some pics :)

Crazy Steamboat at Eldeweiss Park

After partying on Saturday, I have to prepare a stamboat party on Sunday...luckily I reach home around 1+ on Saturday nite..as such I woke up around 9.30am on Sunday to start my marketing at my house opposite wet market...I really had a great time mingling with aunties that sells the stuff at the market..after 3 years I did not do any such of big scale steamboat for 12 pax..I told myself to prepare more stuffs than what the restaurants do..after marketing, I head straight to Jess's place round 12.15pm..we work closely together to prepare all the ingredients and soup base for the steamboat..by 7pm..the steamboat starts and friends start coming in gradually..I am glad that they enjoy my sumptuos spread of steamboat...towards the end of the night...we start to take funny picture to commemorate this superb nite..my next cookout session will be claypot dine..looking forward to that soon..gotta survey more cookbook :)

The 30yrs Itch Party

Recently last Saturday, I attended my boyfriend's boss birthday celebration which was held at Velvet. Well,it has been ages I have step myself in a club...the last time i party was like 3 months back. The good part is this will be the 1st time me and my boyfriend goes to club together..(Tell you a secret: My bf never been to Velvet before)...So the party started I think round 7pm (Coz I was late)..think I came in around 9.30pm and I have seen my bf looks a little bit drunk due to he came in earlier than me..so I believe he must have been drinking before I reach..well..overall the party was fun later at nite..coz everyone was so high and the crowd just came in on time...by 12++ I begin to feel the tiredness or maybe can say age is catching up...so I ask Bruce oppa to faster escape from the club and head home..enough of talking..let u all see how fun the party was:

My 40K Island Trip

Quite some time ago during the beginning of this year...me and my love went to this 1 day tour package done by 5 Star Tour to Johore...the tour was term as lobster trip...I personally have been to this 40K island and its a sanctuary cycling spot...let me tell you the place is actually called Pengerang and situated at east of Johore...the reason it was term in Chinese as 40K island is due to the livelihood of the people there are similar to an islander and it stretch along the coastline...so people who cycle..this is definitely a place you have to go...so instead of cycling...I book a tour package to go instead as the itinerary offered is pretty interesting..starting early at 6.30am,our coach have departed from Spore..we arrive Pengerang around lunch time and get to eat lobster...so we were given an hour to roam free..I realize that the town has change a little as compared to the previous time I was there..it becomes more tourist orientated with new landmark built around the town.

 Sg. Renggit is famous for their lobster...so this is a good landmark to express their identity

After touring around, the bus started the engine and whisk us to this ostrich farm...I am sure many of you are not aware that Msia has an ostrich farm...neither do I...but it was loads of fun interacting with the ostriches and knowing that their whole body is very beneficial from head to toe...and the best part is we get to savour the delicious tender meat of ostrich...yummy!

Next stop..we were brought to this Desaru Fruit Farm...where you get to see all kinds of fruits that is been grown in Msia..what fascinates me most is the dragon fruit...never thought that actually dragon fruit comes from cactus family.

The next spot...we were taken to Kota Tinggi to have dinner and after that we headed for our last Firefly Boat ride itinerary...we were lucky that to be able to spot lots of firefly along the muddy river of Kota Tinggi..I was pretty satisfied with the tour been planned and will be looking forward for 5 Star Tour to bring in more of these humbe yet fascinated places in Msia :)

The Long Weekend

Yes...I went back KL again last week as its a long weekend due to NDP in Singapore...that is why I have PH on Monday..so this particular trip...I manage to dye my hair...shop a little and bring Hannah out to the gaming arcade to have her rides...honestly...did not realize that my little girl has grown up and start to have interest in the arcade games rather than the rides...hopefully I can bring her and have tons of fun at the Universal Studio in Singapore...planning 1 trip for Hannah and most likely will be either Oct or Nov this year...so here are the previews of some of the stuffs that Hannah did with me during the long weekend :)
